ZESTAs, the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association, is a non-profit organization with dozens of zero emission technology members who are all dedicated to a sustainable marine industry. Consequently, ZESTAs and Sustainable Ships are perfectly aligned in terms of values and mission.
Econowind
Econowind is a Dutch based company, related to HCP and Conoship international, a ship design and engineering office in Groningen. Econowind is fully dedicated to wind-assisted ship propulsion. Econowind developed the eConowind-unit, supported in the form of a subsidy by the European Union and the three northern Dutch counties (SNN) with the VIA funding for regional development.
EOPSA
The European Onshore Power Supply Association (EOPSA), incorporated in 2021 as a Not-for-Profit Association, is the premier organization for representing the benefits and the opportunities offered by shoreside electrification and more broadly, port electrification. EOPSA' members build and manufacture the advanced solutions for transforming today’s ships stopovers in ports to be greener, competitive and strategic.
Skoon
Skoon was founded in 2017 with the idea of having ships sail electrically with large interchangeable battery containers. The sharing platform and the software tool, called Skoon Sharing and Skoon Suite, are the foundation on which various additional services arise around mobile energy assets. Skoon's members continue to work towards the goal of making the use of clean mobile energy accessible, reliable and affordable with their software platform.
Subsea Industries
Subsea Industries provides durable, sustainable underwater coating and cleaning systems for permanent protection and top performance. The company was founded in 1983 to achieve the goal of clean rivers, seas and oceans. This includes not adding more pollution to the water. Subsea Industries and Sustainable Ships work together on providing you with actionable insights on hull coating and cleaning systems.
