Why are Billions of Dollars Worth of Ships Being Intentionally Destroyed?
A great video by Economics explained, which states that:
Scrap prices were (very) high 2 years ago;
Corona led to a low demand of shipping;
Every crew member costs about 75.000 dollars/euro;
When crude prices were negative, boats were paid to simply sail around and store oil!
